What is it?
KP Astrology, or Krishnamurti Paddhati, is a specialised predictive system developed by Late Prof. K. S. Krishnamurti. It refines astrological analysis through the study of houses, cusps, Nakshatras, Star Lords, Sub-Lords, significators, planetary periods and transits.
A major strength of KP Astrology is its event-oriented approach. Instead of stopping at a broad description of a person's life, the astrologer can examine a specific question and determine which houses and planetary significators are relevant to that event.
How Does It Work?
The analysis begins with the relevant house cusps and their Sub-Lords. The astrologer studies the houses signified by the concerned planets, the Star Lord and Sub-Lord connections, and the operative Dasha-Bhukti-Antara periods. Transits may then be examined for additional timing support.
The objective is to answer focused questions such as whether an event is astrologically supported, what factors are helping or delaying it, and which periods deserve closer attention.
